Company Settings
Configure organization-level settings that apply across your entire BreakGround company. Access these options from Settings > General.
Company Name
Set your organization's display name. This appears in the dashboard header and in team invitation emails. Only Owners and Admins can change the company name.
Default Locale
Choose the default language for your content. BreakGround uses this locale when displaying flows, tooltips, and surveys to end users who have no locale preference set. Supported locales are managed in the Localization settings (coming soon).
Custom Domain
Configure a custom domain for serving the BreakGround SDK and content:
- Navigate to Settings > General > Custom Domain.
- Enter your desired subdomain (e.g.,
breakground.yourcompany.com). - Add the provided CNAME record to your DNS configuration.
- BreakGround verifies the DNS record and activates the custom domain.
Custom domains are available on the PRO and ENTERPRISE plans.
Feature Flags
Your plan determines which features are enabled for your company. View your current feature access from Settings > General > Features. Features not included in your plan display a locked indicator with an upgrade prompt.

Theme Customization
Customize the appearance of BreakGround content shown to your end users:
- Primary color -- Applied to buttons, links, and progress indicators.
- Font family -- Override the default font to match your application.
- Border radius -- Adjust corner rounding for tooltips, modals, and banners.
- Dark mode -- Enable automatic dark mode support based on the host application's theme.
Theme changes apply to all published content and take effect on the next SDK load.
Data Retention
Configure how long BreakGround retains event and analytics data:

Enterprise companies can request custom retention periods. Contact support to adjust your retention window.
